Change to the requirements of face coverings in General Practice
On behalf of everyone at the Practice we would like to say thank you for your continued support in wearing a face covering when you have attended the Practice.
Following the latest guidance from the NHS, we can now share that face coverings within the Practice are no longer required and will be down to personal preference. Please be reassured if you would still like to wear a face covering, we will respect your choice.
To help support our colleagues as well as our most vulnerable patients, we will continue to request that if you have a suspected or confirmed Covid-19 infection, or you have a cough or other respiratory symptoms, you continue to wear a face mask at the surgery.
Our staff are also no longer required to wear a mask in non-clinical areas of the practice, but the clinicians will continue to do so in some appointments.
