Protected Learning Time

In common with the majority of Lincolnshire practices we have a reduced service 7 times per annum to participate in a protected learning programme for staff training and continuing professional development.

Dates for practice training in 2026:

Wednesday 25th February
Thursday 19th March
Wednesday 13th May
Thursday 4th June
Wednesday 8th July
Wednesday 9th September
Thursday 12th November

On these dates, the Practice offers normal service until 13:00.  Between 13:00 – 16:00, reception will answer calls and direct urgent patients to the duty clinician if required.  After 16:00, the Practice will run additional clinics to support patient need.

The dates are also published in the practice on the noticeboard.

Sometimes the meetings may be cancelled due to circumstances out of our control, when this happens we will notify you by putting a poster up in the surgery.

Please note: The practice provides emergency cover when training is taking place.
