Coronavirus Update – 24 March 2020

Update from 24 March 2020
Good morning to our patients.
We realise how difficult times have become with Coronavirus and can assure you that we are working as quickly and efficiently as possible to maintain a good level of service for all of you.
As you are all aware, keeping apart from each other is critical in the effort to SLOW the spread of this virus. Therefore we URGE you to only come to the surgery if absolutely necessary. We have put a make-shift queuing system in place and removed chairs to limit footfall and keep people apart.
If you need to collect medication, please see if there are COMMUNITY GROUPS in your area that can send one person for multiple patients. Our staff are working extremely hard to get your medication ready for you during unprecedented demand. Please do not over-order, the supply chain is robust and if you order when not needed you may be preventing someone else having access to their medication.
From today (24 March 2020) you will NO LONGER be allowed to come INTO the Practice for the collection of medication, we will be issuing through one of the windows. If you pay, please use contactless payment, if you have a query, please call and leave a CLEAR message with your name, date of birth and number. Please get an online account if possible as this by far the quickest and easiest way to request medication.
Everything has changed rapidly, and the coming days and weeks will be very difficult for us all.
Please help us to help you stay safe and well.
