Seasonal Flu Campaign 2020

As we are nearing the annual flu vaccination season, please see below a DRAFT plan of when we expect you to be able to receive your FREE flu vaccine this year.

As you will appreciate, this year will be an extremely challenging campaign to ensure as many of our patients are vaccinated as early as possible, whilst maintaining social distancing guidelines for your (and our) safety.

The dates are staggered to reflect the delivery schedules of the vaccine and priority as set out by NHS England.

• Over 65s – Vaccines will be available from September 2020 (and the months following until March 2021)
• 18-64s at risk – Vaccines will be available from October 2020 (and the months following until March 2021)
• Children – Vaccines will be available from October 2020 (and the months following until March 2021)
• 50-64s – Subject to availability, vaccines will be available from November 2020 (and the months following until March 2021). We are not permitted to vaccinate anyone in this cohort (unless they are already in the 18-64s at risk group) before November 2020.
