COVID Vaccination for Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV / Shielding) Patients

We are now starting to invite our Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV / shielding) patients for their COVID vaccination.

A text went out over the weekend and is VALID to book into Grantham Meres Leisure Centre.

Therefore, we have now invited (or still attempting to contact) all patients in the first 4 clinical ‘at risk’ groups.

These groups are:

• residents in a care home for older adults and their carers
• all those 80 years of age and over and frontline health and social care workers
• all those 75 years of age and over
• all those 70 years of age and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals

This week coming, we are planning to vaccinate patients registered as HOUSEBOUND (over 70 or CEV only).

All the staff are working incredibly hard trying to get you all vaccinated as quickly as we can.  There are still some patients in the above cohorts that we cannot seem to get hold of so sharing this post would be a great help, or if you know them, ask them to contact us.
