Practice History

There has been a General Practitioner serving Billinghay and the surrounding area for well over one hundred years. Much has changed during that time, and there are now two Partners providing a full range of medical care to the local community. Since April 1982, the practice operated under the terms of a General Medical Services Contract (GMS), but changed to a Personal Medical Services (PMS) contract, under NHS England, East Midlands which enabled us to add the services of two nurse Practitioners five days a week.  Since April 2015, the Practice has reverted back to a GMS contract.

The practice operates from premises opened in 1992, extended in 2003/04, and re-built in 2007 following an extensive fire.

Support is provided to the doctors by a full team of nursing and administration staff, as well as a community nursing team.
